1720 Cape Ann Gambrel

Builder: Silva Brothers | Interior Designer: MVO Designs | Stylist: Cait Gury | Photographer: Mike Casey

One of This Old House's oldest projects: a historic 1720 Cape Ann gambrel in Ipswich, MA. Care was taken to preserve its history while creating modern living spaces. The original timber frame members of the old ell were restored and rebuilt and now stand in the new addition, showcasing a beautiful blend of old and new.
