How Our E-Design Service Works

  1. Initial Contact & Project Overview The first step is reaching out to us with your project details. Share your goals, budget, and a general overview of what you want to achieve. Once we review your information, we’ll schedule a free 15-minute call to discuss your project in more detail.

  2. Contract & Consultation If everything is a go, we’ll move forward with an e-design agreement and schedule a 1-hour consultation to dive deeper into your space, discussing everything from functionality to aesthetics.

  3. Measurements & Inspiration After the consultation, you’ll be tasked with collecting and sharing detailed measurements, photos of your space, and any inspiration that reflects your vision.

  4. Design Plan Creation Fulton Design & Construction will craft a customized design plan based on the agreed scope of work. This includes layout options, material selections, color palettes, and more. We’ll stay in touch via email or text for clarity during this process.

  5. Deliverables

    • Floor Plan: A detailed layout of the space, often presented in hand-drawn format. This includes furniture placement and dimensions to ensure functionality.

    • Mood Board: A visual collage of images that represents the design concept.

    • Furniture and Fixture Selections: Recommendations for furniture, fixtures, and finishes. If plan includes - a clickable shopping list for purchasing or sourcing materials.

  6. Project Execution With the design plan in hand, you move at your own pace to implement the design.

Residential Interior Design Concept

From Concept to 3D Model: Behind the Design

This 3D model is a conceptual design project of a condo tailored to a family of three—a couple and their teenage daughter.

I envisioned this family as expressive and cultured, yet practical, with a sophisticated sense of style. Since the parents love to entertain, I designed an open living room and kitchen with a spacious island for gatherings, complemented by a separate dining room for intentional … dining.

To meet their functional needs, I included a large butler’s pantry that also serves as a laundry room, stylishly integrating utility with design. Throughout the condo, black and white marble tiles in a diamond pattern, along with hardwood flooring, bring a timeless feel to the space. I maintained continuity with the black-and-white theme and brass finishes across the home, while bold pops of color in each room reflect the family's expressive lifestyle.

One of my favorite spaces is the daughter's room, where I transformed her closet into a study nook and opted for an open display for her clothing and shoes to give the room a boutique feel. Chalkboard walls allow her, to literally, put her creativity on display. An underutilized bedroom was repurposed into a large walk-in closet for the parents, demonstrating how thoughtful design meets the unique needs of its occupants.
